Top Two Titles Coming to Netflix… OCTOBER 2019

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

Coming to Netflix October 11, 2019

So all the old birds and mee-maws got their Downton Abbey movie released in theaters this year, Western lovers got a decade-in-the-making Deadwood movie on HBO, and all the goombahs who salivated weekly over The Sopranos will get their prequel movie in the form of Newark pretty soon.

But what about those fans of America’s favorite cancer survivor turned drugpin’s little buddy who finished out the series battered but alive?

Well now we have the awkwardly titled El Camino: a Breaking Bad Movie (this isn’t Star Wars, guys, relax with these titles), debuting on Netflix and picking up where the super popular AMC series left off. Aaron Paul reprises his role of Jesse Pinkman, the two-hour movie was shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico, utilizing many of the same locations and actors from the show (which was probably easy since the spin off prequel show Better Call Saul is still going strong), so anyone with any sort of Breaking Bad jones can now get their fix of that Vince Gilligan goodness on Netflix.

Want some of that blue? Gotta click on that red.

Living With Yourself

Coming to Netflix October 18, 2019

In the grand tradition of “twinsies” movies like Double Impact, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, and Multiplicity comes the Netflix 8-episode comedy series Living With Yourself, starring the ever affable and always likable Paul Rudd as a guy who undergoes a procedure to make his life better but discovers that he simply gets replaced with a clone.

Say whaaaaat? Originally set up as an IFC original series, Netflix scooped this baby up because they love spending money, and they got themselves a Paul Rudd starring show from an Emmy and Peabody Award winning writer, producer and director. Come on, now, that’s some good pedigree.

Who cares if Netflix’s original series hit or miss ratio has been way more miss than hit, we’re talking Paul Rudd here! TWO Paul Rudds, actually! What’s better than one Paul Rudd? A billion dollars. And also two Paul Rudds.
